Transfer Students
The Honors Program prepares transfer students for upper division coursework and helps them navigate the college admissions process. The program builds on the view that competence requires motivation, knowledge, and skills application and moves students from area-specific learning to integrated problem-solving.
How to Join
Students self-select into the program based on a desire to pursue advanced scholarship during their time at Highline. Interested students should email an Honors Faculty Advisor to schedule an orientation meeting.
Honors Student Guide
Prospective and current honors students can learn more about the program in the Honors Program Guide for transfer students completing Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degrees.
